I-Team: Homeland Security Concerned About Fake IDs - WJW
Federal and state authorities say they are working hard to stay ahead of a new and dangerous trend: fake IDs that are so good it can be very difficult to tell them from the real thing.
- "Those individuals that have an evil or ill intent to harm this country or commit a terrorist act, this is invaluable for them to have this documentation," says Susan McCormack, an investigator with Homeland Security.
- Many of the fake IDs are made overseas in China.
