In it, an eight-year-old boy confronts Michele Bachmann at a South Carolina book signing about her views on gays and lesbians. At the urging of his mother, the boy, identified only as Elijah, whispers to the GOP hopeful: "My mom is gay and she doesn't need fixing."
The clip, posted online by the boy's mother and picked up by Chicago Now, ends with the boy walking away and Bachmann with what can safely be described as a bit of a stunned look on her face. The Minnesota Republican didn't respond directly to the boy's comments, saying only "OK, bye-bye" after he begins to walk away.
Traces of radioactive material have been found in Meiji baby formula in Japan, just several days after reports emerged of water leaks at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, officials said on Tuesday.
Meiji Co. said the baby formula was found containing radioactive cesium of up to 30.8 becquerels per kilogram (2.2 pounds) after a random sample was taken and examined by the company, the Kyodo news agency reported.
How the baby formula became contaminated was not immediately clear, but company officials believe the crippled Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant is directly related. Japan's Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry said such high levels of radioactive materials have not been found since the beginning of the country's nuclear crisis and said it is already planning new limits for food products.

Occupy Oakland turned into a battlefield last night, as the police forcefully engaged with thousands of protesters in the streets of "The Town."
The "war" raged deep into the night as police fired tear-gas, rubber bullets, sound blasts and heavy metal bean bags at the protesters after destroying their tent city. The peaceful protesters fought back, as they felt their backs were against the wall.
As tear-gas filled the streets and rubber bullets caused big welts on protester's legs and arms, the most heinous moment was when this man was shot in the face with a rubber bullet.
New street lights that include “Homeland Security” applications including speaker systems, motion sensors and video surveillance are now being rolled out with the aid of government funding.
The Intellistreets system comprises of a wireless digital infrastructure that allows street lights to be controlled remotely by means of a ubiquitous wi-fi link and a miniature computer housed inside each street light, allowing for “security, energy management, data harvesting and digital media,” according to the Illuminating Concepts website.
According to the company’s You Tube video of the concept, the primary capabilities of the devices include “energy conservation, homeland security, public safety, traffic control, advertising, video surveillance.”In terms of Homeland Security applications, each of the light poles contains a speaker system that can be used to broadcast emergency alerts, as well as a display that transmits “security levels” (presumably a similar system to the DHS’ much maligned color-coded terror alert designation), in addition to showing instructions by way of its LED video screen.The lights also include proximity sensors that can record both pedestrian and road traffic. The video display and speaker system will also be used to transmit Minority Report-style advertising, as well as Amber Alerts and other “civic announcements”.

Ron Paul presented himself almost perfectly. The choice of the Republican candidate should be made by how little David Gregory pushes back on their statements. In this appearance he pushed back almost not at all. The only thing I disagree on with Paul is that we are not just on "the fiscal road to insanity"; we reached the destination a while ago. Mega Tsunami could hit the US

In the video below, former four star general and NATO commander Wesley Clark talks about the neocon plan to invade seven countries in five years. Included in the plan was an attack on Libya. Clark mentions the plan at two minutes, 26 seconds into the video.
The video was recorded on October 3, 2007, at the Commonwealth Club of California in San Francisco.
Clark’s revelation is nothing new, although it reminds us that the attack on Libya fits into a larger context and there are horrific conflicts to come if the globalists have their way.
Following the election of Obama and a reshuffling of the same old deck in Congress in 2008, it was believed the bad old days of neocon wars were finally behind us. Obama said he would close down the wars and bring home the troops. Instead, he intensified the effort to spread chaos, mayhem and mass murder in the Middle East and South Asia, thus underscoring the fact there is absolutely no difference between Democrats and Republicans when it comes to creative destruction (it is telling that the neocon Michael Leeden has used the term – creative destruction is a Marxist concept).
Clark has talked about the neocon plan on several occasions. He said the following during a speech at the University of Alabama in October of 2006, recounting a conversation with a general at the Pentagon:
I said, “Are we still going to invade Iraq?” “Yes, Sir,” he said, “but it’s worse than that.” I said, “How do you mean?” He held up this piece of paper. He said, “I just got this memo today or yesterday from the office of the Secretary of Defense upstairs. It’s a… five-year plan. We’re going to take down seven countries in five years. We’re going to start with Iraq, then Syria, Lebanon, then Libya, Somalia, Sudan, we’re going to come back and get Iran in five years. I said, “Is that classified, that paper?” He said, “Yes Sir.” I said, “Well, don’t show it to me, because I want to be able to talk about it.”
